How we handle your information.

Nothing. There are no forms on this website, no accounts, no sign-ups and no mailing list. There is nowhere to type your name, so there is nowhere for it to go.

The site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and loads no scripts, fonts or images from anyone else’s servers. Everything the page needs is served from this site.

Like every website, this one is served by a hosting company, and that company keeps standard server logs. Those logs typically include your IP address, the page you asked for, the time you asked for it, and what browser you used. That is a normal part of running a web server and it happens whether or not anyone looks at it. The committee does not use those logs to build a profile of anyone.

Some links on this site lead to other organisations. Once you follow one, you are on their website under their rules, not ours, and what they collect is covered by their own privacy policy — not this one. That includes:

• WinRed, which processes donations. If you donate, you are giving your details to WinRed and to whatever reporting the law requires of a political committee.
• Facebook, where the committee posts.
• The New York State Board of Elections and the Oswego County Board of Elections, for polling places, mail ballots and voter registration.
• OpenStreetMap contributors, whose data the map is drawn from. The map tiles themselves are served from this site, so browsing the map does not tell OpenStreetMap anything about you.

Calling or emailing the committee means the committee has whatever you chose to send — your phone number or email address, and whatever you wrote or said. That is unavoidable: it is how contacting someone works. The committee is not running a database of constituent contact details behind this website, and this website did not give it your information, because it never had it.
